Added different arms to series 6 Michonne action figure

I really love the TV series The Walking Dead. It is by far the best TV series on TV now. If you haven't seen it, you are missing something spectacular.

So I added the older Michonne's arms to the series 6 Michonne. I prefer this look to the original arms with the baggie sleeves she had.

Added new legs to Walking Dead Maggie Greene action figure

I really love the TV series The Walking Dead. It is by far the best TV series on TV now. If you haven't seen it, you are missing something spectacular.

I really love the new better articulated legs on the current Walking Dead action figures from Mcfarlane's Walking Dead movie series 6. So I decided to add them to the figures that had the older style legs that didn't enable the figures to be posed in a seated position.

So I added the new legs to Maggie. I used Carol's legs to give her better articulation.

Added articulation to Star Wars Rebels Storm Trooper Officer

Another Rebels figure complete with added articulation I used hands, elbows and knees from a Star Wars Clone Wars Clone Trooper. Lots of dremeling involved with this one same as the Storm Troopers I worked on. No surprised there as it is the same mould.

Added articulation to Star Wars Rebel Cikatro Vizago

I have been watching the Star Wars Rebels cartoon since it started, its awesome, I love every episode. So with everything I watch I have to collect the toy line if there is one. These 5 points of articulation figures were a let down. I always like my figures to have the most amount of articulation as possible.

Another Rebels figure I added articulation to was Vizago. I used the knees of Star Wars 30th Anniversary Qymaen Jai Sheelal (Kaleesh Warlord/Pre Cyborg Grievous) for the elbows dremeled down to fit once glued in place. The knees from a Star Wars Clone Wars Clone Trooper for the knees. Once painted they all blend in well. Replaced the holster with a Star Wars Legacy Rebel Hoth Soldier holster that is now usable.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Metal Head custom

When the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were instructed by Splinter to stay away from the surface. Donatello made a robot Turtle for recon missions.

This was made using a Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Med Droid body and the head, shell, hands and feet from the Half Shell Heroes Metal Head. His size compared to the Turtles and other figures of this custom line is perfect.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Kraang custom

The Kraang aliens in the current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon TV series are completely different from the previous 1987 and 2003 TV series. If you are a fan of this series you will understand what I am talking about.

This custom was very easy. I used a Star Wars Episode 1 Battle Droid with the head from the Playmates 2012 Kraang. Painted him completely silver. Then added the Kraang brain head to the torso of the Battle Droid.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tiger Claw custom

I didn't really like the scale of the Playmates TMNT 2012 toy line. Certain characters that are supposed to be huge are the same size as the Turtles. Which I really found frustrating. So as always I thought I might as well make my own. I have used parts from all different 1:18 toy lines, such as Marvel Universe, Star Wars, GI Joe, mixed with the TMNT and Half Shell Heroes toy lines.

I like Tiger Claw in the current cartoon TV series. He is a very interesting character, I would love to see his back story of how he became a mutant. I used the head and feet from the Half Shell Heroes figure. The body of Marvel Universe Astonishing Beast along with Star Wars Jango Fett's Belt and Jetpack.  And the hands of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Wookiee Warrior. after a paint job. he is complete. I am aware he doesn't resemble his on screen look as much as I would have liked.

Added articulation to Star Wars Rebels Sabine Wren action figure

The next Rebels action figure I added articulation to was Sabine Wren, the Ghost's Mandalorian female warrior. I thought it was a shame that this figure didn't have a removable helmet. So instead of dremeling out the helmet head. I found a head that looked somewhat like Sabine. Now both heads are easily interchangeable. By inserting and gluing a cocktail stick in a hole I dremeled a small hole in each head and glued a small fraction of the cocktail stick in the hole. Then by dremeling a hole the same size in the neck area of the torso, the heads both can be changed easily. I used elbows from a Star Wars Clone Wars Cad Bane and Knees from a Star Wars Clone Wars Clone Trooper. Only needed to paint the knees to match and done. The unmasked head is from DC Infinite Crisis Wonder Girl, the hair is painted orange at front and purple at the back.

Added articulation to Star Wars Rebels Hera Syndulla action figure

I really like this character in the Rebels TV series. She is a wonderful character and pilot. My goal with this project was to add articulation to every Rebels action figure that had been released. So they was no turning back now. I used elbows from a Star Wars Clone Wars Nahdar Vebb and knees from a Star Wars 30th Anniversary X Wing Pilot (not sure which, but they are all the same mould) used for the knees. The elbows are smaller so they work much better for Hera's knees. I have a few difficult times dremeling the upper arms for the elbow plugs to fit. As Hera's arms are so small, there isn't much to work with.  This is the only figure that never needed the new joints to be painted. As I was lucky to match the colours without paint.

Added articulation to Star Wars Rebels Storm Trooper action figure

So I think out of all the Rebels action figures that I have added articulation to. The Storm Trooper took the longest and was the most difficult. But in the end I managed to custom 4 of them. I used parts from a Star Wars Clone Wars Clone Trooper, parts used were elbows, hands and knees. At first I wasn't going to bother with the hands, but he needed them to get the pose I wanted with his blaster, in a guard position. A lot of dremeling went into this custom. In the end the time put into it was absolutely worth the end result. After the new joint were painted black, they blend in very well.

Added articulation to Star Wars Rebels Zeb Orrellios action figure

I have been watching the Star Wars Rebels cartoon since it started, its awesome, I love every episode. So with everything I watch I have to collect the toy line if there is one. These 5 points of articulation figures were a let down. I always like my figures to have the most amount of articulation as possible.
Zeb was the next Rebels action figure I wanted to add more articulation to. I used a McQuarrie Concept Chewbacca elbows, knees and wrist pegs. I think I gave him some more height, but that's ok. Cause he is pretty big in the cartoon TV series anyway. It was very difficult to match the exact paint colour of the figure. So might have to re visit this custom in the near future.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dogpound custom

Now for a bad guy. One of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enemies from the current TV series is Dogpound. I love his look, so just had to make him. He is made from a Marvel Universe Hulk mixed with the head, tail, back fur, hands and feet from the Playmates figure. Once painted this figure represents the screen character pretty good. Now finally this character is in proper scale when facing against his foes, the Turtles.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Casey Jones custom

So another of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's friend and ally. Made with a GI Joe 30th Spirit head. Along with a GI Joe Retaliation Firefly torso and upper arms. Legs are from a GI Joe dollar General Shipwreck. Lower arms from GI Joe Pursuit of Cobra Zartan. Quite a mix of parts for this custom, but I think they come together very well.

Thanks for looking.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles April O'Neil custom

I didn't really like the scale of the Playmates TMNT 2012 toy line. Certain characters that are supposed to be huge are the same size as the Turtles. Which I really found frustrating. So as always I thought I might as well make my own. I have used parts from all different 1:18 toy lines, such as Marvel Universe, Star Wars, GI Joe, mixed with the TMNT and Half Shell Heroes toy lines.

April was my next custom for this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles custom toy line I have been creating. She is based on the current cartoon look, but if she was 10 years older than in the current Turtles series. I used a GI Joe Renegades Scarlett head, along with a Rise of Cobra Cover Girl torso, upper arms and legs. Lower arms from Resolute Duke and created the effect of shorts by using some straps.

Added arms to Star Wars Rebels Chopper action figure

So I wanted my Chopper action figure to look like he does in the cartoon when his little arms come out of his body. I used the arms from the McQuarrie concept R2-D2 figure.
